Last updated: April 28, 2026.
1. Scope
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Jobot, including the website, waitlist, account features, candidate profile tools, application assistance workflows, and related services.
2. What Jobot is
Jobot is an AI-powered job search and application assistance service for candidates. Jobot is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, legal adviser, or immigration adviser. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, compensation, or hiring outcomes.
3. Eligibility and account security
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and connected accounts.
- You may not impersonate another person or create misleading candidate profiles.
4. Your data and your instructions
You authorize Jobot to process the information and materials you upload or create through the service in order to provide candidate assistance workflows. You represent that you have the right to provide that data and that the information is accurate, lawful, and not misleading.
5. Sensitive data
You should not upload sensitive personal data unless it is necessary for your job search. If you do provide it and request that Jobot process or transmit it, you instruct us to do so for that purpose and accept the related privacy and accuracy risks.
6. Candidate responsibility
You remain solely responsible for the truthfulness, completeness, and currency of your CV, profile, application answers, portfolio links, certifications, work authorization information, and any other content submitted using Jobot.
If you enable any workflow that allows Jobot to draft, prefill, queue, or submit materials on your behalf, you accept the risk that those materials may contain errors, omissions, formatting issues, or stale information. You are responsible for deciding whether to review, update, or authorize such content before or during use.
7. Third-party sites and platforms
Jobot may interact with third-party job boards, applicant tracking systems, employer career sites, or other external services. Those services are governed by their own terms, privacy notices, technical limits, and access rules.
- You are responsible for your compliance with third-party terms connected to your account or activity.
- Jobot may limit, suspend, or disable workflows that appear incompatible with platform rules, security requirements, or acceptable use standards.
- Jobot does not promise uninterrupted support for any specific platform, form, or integration.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Jobot to:
- Submit false, fabricated, deceptive, harassing, discriminatory, or unlawful applications.
- Misstate your identity, qualifications, work history, or authorization to work.
- Abuse, probe, or interfere with the service or third-party systems.
- Use Jobot as a tool to scrape, resell, or build competing data sets or automation services.
- Bypass platform restrictions, access controls, or rate limits in violation of applicable rules.
9. AI-generated content
Jobot may generate drafts, summaries, rewrites, recommendations, or other AI-assisted content. These outputs are provided for assistance only and may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable. You are responsible for any use or submission of those outputs.
10. Fees and subscriptions
Paid features, if offered, are billed on the terms presented at checkout. Unless expressly stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable after the relevant billing period starts, subject to mandatory consumer law.
11. Intellectual property
Jobot and its underlying software, design, branding, and service materials remain our property or the property of our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service for your personal job search in accordance with these terms.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and accuracy of outputs or third-party content.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jobot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of chance, interviews, offers, income, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jobot's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to Jobot in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) 100 USD.
14. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold Jobot harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, your instructions, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to all or part of the service if we believe it is necessary to protect users, third parties, platforms, or Jobot, or if we suspect abuse, unlawful conduct, or breach of these terms.
16. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
